The top 9 books which are a best companion to my toddler right now!

Maa shaa allah books are the best companion for everyone. When it’s a companion for a toddler then that’s the best thing to happen in toddler’s life! We are gifted in that way alhamdulilah 💕 we read a lot of books since her birth. But it’s on and off! Buying books was a tough task in India but still we had preloved group where we could buy them! But after moving to US it’s a lot more easy here! Library library and library! It’s a key for reading a lot of book! We read a lot alhamdulilah for that!

It’s a daily activity in our home. My friends and family used to make fun of me like your daughter walks with book, sleeps with book, etc.,

When I had a unplanned surgery in this land I was not supposed to nurse my doll and that’s when we weaned naturally alhamdulilah for that but only because we had that read aloud a daily I was able to connect more with her. I was advised not to carry her so this reading helped us to connect with each other. If you would like to hear more about that please do click here!

On the eve of World book day tomorrow I would like to share with you our to-go list in my family! These are picture books for sure and it’s a mixture of both Muslim and non-Muslim books!

Carry-me Farm Animals

This book is written by Claire Page and it’s a simple book with a touch and feel experience. The author has introduced the farm animals one by one in a sensorial way. This is one of our favourite books in this 2 years of parenting.

Qunatum Physics

Quantum Physics for Babies is a colorfully simple introduction to the principle that gives quantum physics its name. Babies (and grownups!) will discover that the wild world of atoms never comes to a standstill. Many asked me  if is it not too early to introduce this? My answer is Nothing is too early and they will understand when the right age comes. This is perfect for the young scientists  After all, it’s never too early to become a quantum physicist!

Good Night

This is from the Priddybooks and its a bed time story where the baby bear is the protagonist. It is a cute story of a bear family who does things from morning to sleep time. This is a board book and kids will enjoy these books for sure.

ABC Animals

This is a wonderful books for the kids to get introduced to animals. I got to know few animals in the list in this age. This is from the Anerican Museum of Natural History. This museum was established on 1869. Wow!!

What’s your Favorite Animal

Everybody has a favorite animal. Some like little white dogs or big black cats or hoppy brown bunnies best. Others prefer squishy snails or tall giraffes or sleek black panthers. With beautiful illustrations and charming personal stories, 14 children’s book artists share their favorite animals and why they love them.

5 Pillars of Islam

This is a wonderful book for the toddlers where the author introduces each pillar with the illustrations so the kids will understand. It’s written in simple language and the illustrations speak a lot in it.

The Little Ice Cream Truck

This is one of our favorite books. The illustrations are so inviting where the author introduces zoo, parks, parties and whereever the ice cream truck is! BabyA matches the ice creams on the first and last pages of the book. She counts them too. It’s a sort of interactive book.

Count to 10 with a Mouse

This is an interactive picture book where a mouse stays inside the book. The mouse wants to learn to count as he wants to know how many fingers he has. As he has spotted a hole he travels through each page and learns to count page by page. Kids will enjoy this book for sure.

It’s Ramadan, Curious George

This is one of our favorite books and as Ramadan is too around the corner I wanted to mention about this book. It travels around George where he is planning to celebrate Ramadan with his friend kareem and together they learn about Fasting, Eid and the sighting of
Moon. Really loved this book.
