Ramadhan is on the way! When I think about this special holy month even in this age I get all excited. Being an expat, I really want to include my daughter who is a toddler to feel why this month is special? Why is the environment different at home right now? Why are the Schedules changed! So to start off wanted to do something like a Good deed jar but felt everything available over the internet is concentrated for the older kids. I wanted something for my toddler as it must be doable for her. Only when our goals are achievable we will enjoy the task and perform in joy. So I have come up with this list for the toddlers who are in 18 months and plus . You can use this stickers and plan for a daily gift or a complete ramadhan treat. In shaa allah I have plans to give small treats daily when she gets a sticker and in the end of the 30th day she gets her ramadhan treat. Back in India I was grown in an environment where we had gatherings within the family talikng about deen and we will wait for the month to come to celebrate it. We used to exchange gifts on eid. Being away from the family that too in western country I do feel I need to do something like this to engage my daughter in Ramadhan where she learns something special about this month. You can ask what is she going to do now learning this early? I believe in child-led parenting and this surely helps both momma and baby to be in a peaceful state in shaa allah. In shaa allah you can download the ramadhan stickers so that you can enjoy with your toddler. Please do add us [Our Family] in your duas!!
